Los Roques Venezuela

Piedra de la Guasa
30 to 35 m deep underwater cliff. One of the best spots to observe a wide spectrum of pelagic fauna (grouper, red snapper, barracuda, horse-eye, jack).

Fish Info

Parrotfish have tusk-like front teeth fused together and this gives the appearance of a "beak" hence the name 'Parrot' fish.

They have small mouths and most are coral chewers rather than carnivores. But will take crabs, crayfish and molluscs.Male andFemale parrot fish have very different colouring.
