HMS Saracen

Corsica Off Bastia

The HMS Saracen was attacked by the Italian corvettes Minerva and Euterpe: the depth charges severely damaged the hull, and the submarine was abandoned by the crew, and scuttled.

Solitary and sedentary. Common among rocks and algae. Feeds on small fishes (gobies, blennies), crustaceans and other invertebrates
