Wreck dives include two accessible steamship wrecks: the easily accessible Princess Kathleen, beginning at 40 feet, within a few miles of Auke Bay (one of Juneau's principal ports), and the Princess Sophia, beginning at 60 feet, which sank next to a reef in the middle of Lynn Canal, 20 miles from Auke Bay. The Princess Sophia is the more spectacular of the two, being fully encrusted with all forms of marine life.
